Es una negociación de identidades por debajo de las fronteras, un mundo oscuro, peligroso, mágico, caótico, ingobernable: un imposible para el conocimiento linealbinario al que accedemos bajo la función estética de poiesis de las manos de los y las artenasanas’
The jalq'a textile body expands the notion of us, invites us to think of an underground world, from below and inside, inhabited by strange and imagined beings in which the monstrous, the wild and the impossible have a cultural function and aesthetic. It is a negotiation of identities below the borders, a dark, dangerous, magical, chaotic, ungovernable world, an impossibility for linear or binary knowledge that we access under the aesthetic function of poiesis from the hands of the artenasanas ’
